Spokane: The Best of Times

Spokane is simply beautiful.
And I had lots of time to enjoy its natural beauty.
Five minutes from our apartment was this charming waterfall. Included are
turtles (seen on the rock), gold fish, dragon flies, and ducks.
Namaste.

Jen & I explored the bounds of Spokane. Here of some
shots we took in the quaint farming areas.
On Saturday's we'd visit some Farmer's Markets in downtown Spokane.
They had excellent fresh cherries!

And finally, downtown Spokane:

{This is a post that I wrote a looooong time ago}

We have had a wonderful school year! Except we decided to make some changes to our otherwise perfect lives. Chase is going to Washington for the summer to sell Dish Network! ... And I get to stay here. I have to take a class for Spring term so it won't last all summer though! On June 18th I get to venture out to Washington and enjoy my summer. This means that Chase quit his bank job, and I am quitting at Costco. I can hardly believe it. The last two years of my life have been devoted to that place! Now I will get to be a free woman! I just hope I won't get too bored.

This next school year we will both focus solely on school. We must get done! I am applying to the Advertising program in the fall, and Chase hopefully only has one more year to finish his degree in International Business. Our plans are to travel the world at that point... I hope!

As for now, I am going to take this opportunity of being husbandless for a month and half and make the best of it. Here are some of the things I am occupying my time with...

Working out hard core!!

Taking some pictures with my new camera.

Homework.

Spending time with my family... I am living back at their house because the condo is much too lonely.

and Hangin with my good ol' friends from Draper and from Provo!

Just like Mickey and Minnie in a Whole New World.. literally.. Disney World

As it turns out, I do love Disney World. The humidity might have been a bit much but the rain was even enjoyable sometimes! We went pretty much everywhere and tried pretty much everything that sparked out interest. My favorite park was Epcot. It was like the entire world in one theme park; the ultimate quick vacation around the world.

This was our hotel! It was the Pop Century Resort, and yes, it was very colorful and very large.

This big guy was right outside our hotel room. Chase loves to give eskimo kisses.

We simply could not pass up the bride and groom ears. Can you blame us?

These magic "Just Married" pins got us to the front of many rides, as well as a few extra fast passes. Just gotta know how to work the system I guess.

I think the best thing about this honeymoon, is that it was fun and still romantic. Finally being able to be together all the time was so great!

A quick time machine backwards....

So of course I want to start this blog with our very first and most important adventure. The wedding. I won't bore you with too many details, but mostly because it was now quite a few months ago and the details are a little foggy. We got married in the Draper Temple and I know it sounds so cheesy, but it was the best day ever. Seriously, ever. I loved feeling like a princess and I soaked in all the attention happily. Oh yeah, and I got to be with my lover forever too. What a day! And what a good looking group too!

I had heard horror stories of girls who never even got to try their cake. That was not going to happen to me. I was determined. The only thing I never tried were the fruit cups. Of course the most important part was the food! PLLLease.

Can you guess who won the first fight?

Just sayin, I love this woman.

The Adventures of Chase & Jessica

Before I got married to my terrific husband, Chase, I promised myself that this is where my life would start, not end. I would not stop enjoying great life experiences; I would have even greater adventures with my best friend at my side. This blog is dedicated to those adventures that would not have been the same without him.
